Teya Alden has an affinity for helping others apply uncommon common sense to their lives.  She is devoted to living mindfully as well as having a daily formal meditation and a conscious movement lifestyle.

Working with clients privately and in classes, Teya serves as a guide to find what form of practice supports people to hear and feel their own connection to their deepest truth.  And ultimately illuminating: How you move changes how you feel and that changes everything.

Teya is a (R.E.S) Restorative Exercise Specialist, AiM Practitioner and also holds certifications from both Yoga Teacher E-RYT 500 Yoga Aliance and Gentle Somatic Yoga G.S.Y. She has completed the studies of “The Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Program” with Dr. John Kabot-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center.

With Sitara Van Block she is well practiced in a unique form of Energy Healing recognized as effective in the field of Transpersonal Physiology in Sedona, Arizona.  And at the National Institute for Behavioral Medicine Teya explored an in-depth study “Brain Trauma and Neuroplasticity / Mindfulness as Proven Treatment” - how preparing for death can help us participate in life.  Recapturing the soul of medicine…

Local to Orlando, Teya has hosted Philip Shepherd’s New Self New World workshop as well as 5 Rhythms events featuring Amber Ryan in Central Florida.  Her global aspirations for continued education and enlightenment has led Teya all over the world: from her studies in Toronto and London, to her retreats at Spirit Rock Monastery, Thailand and Bali.

I believe we protect what we fall in love with. Nature seduces us to fall in love with its beauty. It is my nature to see the beauty in all people, and find it in every situation. I honor the teachers who have blazed this trail before me, and with my deepest gratitude I walk this path.
